Meet Kathryn Barbosa
Hi there,
I’m Kathryn
Welcome! I am an International Dyslexia Association-certified O.G.-method tutor (Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist) and a certified teacher.
Bio
My name is Kathryn Barbosa, and I'm so glad you're here. I am an International Dyslexia Association-certified O.G.-method tutor (Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist) and a certified teacher. I am excited to share with you just how well teletherapy works for reading issues and dyslexia, and why I use this method for my intervention work.
My areas of specialty are reading intervention, online literacy instruction and instructional design (online lesson planning).
Together, we will work to guide your child to success in all areas of English language arts with a balanced combination of Orton-Gillingham instruction, morphology (word study), and comprehension skill-building.
As a certified dyslexia specialist, I take pride in meeting each student at their literacy level and provide the structure and scaffolding that will best help that student build competency in reading, fluency, comprehension, and spelling.
Contact me today for a FREE initial consultation, and find out how I tailor my services to your child's needs. I can be reached by email at kathryn@readingrefined.com or by phone at (508) 570-6898.
