(Dover, MA) Reading Refined, a leading education company dedicated to helping children develop strong reading skills has announced the launch of a new group class called “Power Boost” for First Graders. The class is designed to help children with learning challenges finish the school year strong by reinforcing the foundations of reading fundamentals like phonics and fluency.

The Power Boost class is tailored specifically for first graders who may be struggling with reading or who simply need an extra boost to improve their skills. Led by experienced reading instructors, the class uses a fun and engaging approach to help students learn the phonics skills necessary to read and write at grade level.
“We want to ensure that all kids receive a strong foundation in the critical early years of literacy development,” said Kathryn Barbosa, founder of Reading Refined." Our Power Boost class for First Graders gives students the extra support they need to build this foundation.”

The Power Boost class is offered as a small group class with 6 students per session, providing students with the opportunity to interact with their peers while receiving individualized attention from instructors. Classes are held five days a week for six weeks, with each session lasting for 45 minutes.

"We believe that the key to ensuring success for our students is the combination of specialized instruction and high-frequency classes. Offering classes five times per week as well as providing real materials and online tools makes our program unique," added Barbosa. "Our goal is to help every child become a confident, lifelong reader."
